Looking for the New Equilibrium

I took militant measures not too long ago. Caffeine, alcohol, smoke, chemicals etc. All cut from the diet.
I eased into exercise at first and am heavy into it now. Running, cycling, lifting, soccer and indoor bouldering. I'm eating right, drinking rooibos teas and wheatgrass shots.
Instead of working late and clubbing i've added more light into my days.
Last week i finished the fifth and the final, for the time being, bio-energy healing treatment.
I've read every self help book i could get my hands on.
I've pretty much been doing everything i could think of to change my lifestyle and the way i feel.
Why? Because i bottomed out. In every aspect of my life. Self esteem was at an all time low. Fears were high. I wished to start a new chapter and the will was strong.
Been on the program for 11 weeks now.
So far so good. Knock on wooo.
Research tells that it takes 2 full years for the brain to adjust to the new equilibrium. The stretches of good vibrations are to increase and slowly squeeze out negativity.
I haven't been on the program long enough to preach and it is not my intention to, but i have to say that i have been progressively feeling better, sleeping better and working better.
I have been more connected, a better friend, boyfriend and a better brother.
Its pretty sweet.
