Do you ever have that day... when you're leaking... wake up from a nap... you're feeling good... pretty fuckin good... but you're leaking... you got that big L on your forehead...
You see missed calls on skype from your brother... you call him back... all stoked... and he just sits there on video in mute... looks at you from a dark room... for minutes... for as long as you choose to have your laptop open
You're supposed to help a friend with work shit... alter the schedule to make it... make a call... no answer... no reply
You realize things are shifty so you patch... turn phone off... turn comp off...
Walk and tea... that will turn things around... some new emo kid at the counter... wiggles his hand in front of your face with change while you're rubbing your eyes trying to wake up... 'here you go buddy' ...
you're standing there wondering ... a. smile? b. ask him to lean in and tell him to go fuck himself?... c. turn around and add soy milk...
then you sit outside in the rain solo... trying to get a lil space... until couple of east indian dudes show... fresh out of skytrain... act yaletown and smoke cigarettes ...
you go for a lil walk... buy couple of organic bananas and come home ... home is safe
